heard of Eddie Arcaro?
he reminds me of persistence,
to persist,
to persevere,
in pursuing my dreams and goals.
Arcaro,
is an american jockey.
he is a legend in horse racing,
and also
in life.
he is the only rider who won the US Triple Crown,
more than once.
at first,
i thought he has some special talent or something,
i was shock to find out that,
he won his first race,
after 250 losses!
he kept losing for 250 races,
did he quit?
nope.
he was told that he was not good to become a jockey.
did he quit?
nope.
through persistence and perseverance
to become a successful jockey,
he did it, after 250 losses.
whenever i feel overwhelmed
by obstacles,
never lose my faith.
dont count the number of defeats,
u will sure get what you want,
through persistence and perseverance.
Barack Obama:
"Making your mark on the world is hard. If it were easy, everybody would do it. But it's not. It takes patience, it takes commitment, and it comes with plenty of failure along the way. The real test is not whether you avoid this failure, because you won't. it's whether you let it harden or shame you into inaction, or whether you learn from it; whether you choose to persevere."
